What Is Your Shipping Policy?

Free Shipping on Orders of $100 or More & Free In Store Pick Up!
We ship all orders via USPS and charge a flat rate of $10 for all shipments under $100-anything at $100 or above is free. In the off season, shipments will generally be packaged and shipped within 2-3 business days. During Halloween Season (late August, September, October, and early November) shipments will be packaged and sent within 1-2 business days; although there may be a delay due to volume in late October. We do also offer In Store Pick Up (for free) during the Halloween season-please wait for us to email you that your order is ready as this will typically take 1-2 business days. All pick up orders must be picked up during the current store hours; which will be sent with your pick up confirmation.

Are all of your products listed online?

NOPE! We are a small business that has a large selection of inventory (literally thousands of items) and don't have the manpower to get every product online like a bigger company would. The website is also a new tool that we have just started using in 2024. As time goes on we will be working towards getting more and more products from our store on our website too. That said, some products may sell out pretty quickly in store, which means they may not have a chance to get online. If you are looking for something specific and not seeing it online, you can email us at worldofmagicsb@gmail.com to see if we have the product, or come check out our brick and mortar store in person!

What is your return policy?

For Online Orders, we do offer returns for a refund in the original payment method within 14 days of purchase. To start this process, send an email including your receipt and the item you'd like to return to worldofmagicsb@gmail.com (within the 14 day time period) for further steps. We can not refund the original shipping or return shipping charges. A receipt is required for all returns and returns must be unworn, with all accessories and in original packaging and/or tags. All Items will be subject to inspection/processing before a refund will be issued and we reserve the right to refuse returns for items that appear to have been worn, misused or damaged. Please allow up to 4 weeks for this process to be completed during the month of October. Due to the seasonality of our products, during the Halloween season WE DO NOT ACCEPT ANY RETURNS OR EXCHANGES AFTER OCTOBER 10th; regardless of purchase date. This extends through November 25th. Please refer to the size chart when available/applicable before making a purchase. The Following Items are Final Sale, No Returns or Exchanges: -Wigs, Headbands and Headwear -Hosiery (Pantyhose, Tights and Nylons) -Gloves -Make-up -Vampire Fangs -Jewelry -Masks -Any sale or discounted items Due to the processing period and the quick turnaround of certain items in store, we can not offer any exchanges online. In the event that you want an item in a different size, the best route would be to purchase the item you'd like and start the return process on the item that didn't work out. Should you experience a defect or mistake (on our part) with your order, contact us directly within 14 days from date of purchase at worldofmagicsb@gmail.com so we can work together on a solution. It should be noted that the return policy for items bought online versus the return policy for items bought in store differ. In Store all Sales are Final, no Returns or Exchanges.

When Is the Brick and Mortar Store Open and Where Is it Located?

For the 2024 Halloween season we are located at 901 State Street Santa Barbara, CA 93101. We plan to open before Labor Day. Check back for updates on exact opening dates and hours. In the meantime, shop online to get your Halloween fix!

I love Halloween! How do I apply for employment?

Awesome! We are generally hiring staff from August to November wtih peak staffing needs in October. We seek energetic and enthusiastic individuals who are driven to provide our customers with a fun and memorable shopping experience. Pay for sales associates start at $17/hr with opportunity for upward mobility in a keyholder or assistant manager position. Duties will include: -Store set up and takedown -Assisting in merchandising product onto the walls, restocking walls as needed. -Assisting customers in shopping and recovery of the store on a daily basis. -Providing exceptional customer service throughout the sales floor, dressing room, and at the check out counter.
